Key Barriers & MiGA

Barrier: Education, Instruction and Opportunity
MiGA: We will partner to provide clinics, develop affiliated courses, connect to instructors in local areas, and we are also creating an online training center for mobility-impaired golfers.

Barrier: Lack of Independence on the Course.
MiGA: We will be working to help identify courses that are ADA friendly, offer instruction and offer mobility carts.

Barrier: Locating playing companions and general support.
MiGA: Our website will provide the opportunity for members to connect with other players in their community, discuss related issues, and build a local, regional and national support network.

Barrier: Finding course staff that are knowledgeable and friendly.
MiGA: We will be partnering with different organizations to help improve the level of knowledge and understanding among course staff.

Barrier: Discomfort playing in front of others.
MiGA: We will provide education for players, publicity campaigns to increase public awareness and opportunities to meet understanding people close to home.
